Chargers' Isaiah Burse: Will not play Thursday

Burse (concussion) will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the 49ers, Dan Woike of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

It's a tough blow for Burse, who is fighting for a roster spot as the team's sixth wide receiver and likely returner. He'll have to hope Kenjon Barner struggles in his duties as a return man in order to have a shot at sticking with the Chargers to start the season.
