Chase Allen: Added to Bears' practice squad

Allen was signed to Chicago's practice squad Wednesday, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.

The undrafted free agent out of Iowa State went unclaimed on waivers after being waived Tuesday, so the Bears brought Allen back into the fold, albeit in a lesser role. He'll likely spend the 2022 season honing his skills in practice before attempting to make the 53-man roster next year.
