The Colts placed Smith (personal) on the reserve/NFI list Saturday.
Smith has been dealing with a personal matter and hasn't suited up since Week 12. By going on the NFI list, he'll be required to sit out the remainder of the regular season. Matt Goncalves is likely to start at right tackle for Indianapolis the rest of the way.
