The Commanders activated Magee (hamstring) from injured reserve, and he is active for Monday night's game against the 49ers.
Magee has been cleared to return from a four-game absence due to a hamstring injury that he sustained in Week 1 against the Eagles. The third-year pro is expected to work mostly on special teams, but his return bolsters the Commanders' depth at inside linebacker behind starters Frankie Luvu and rookie first-rounder Sonny Styles.
