Victor was released by the Saints on Saturday, Herbie Teope of The New Orleans Times-Picayunereports.
Victor only joined New Orleans in the beginning of August, but made his mark with 35 carries for 126 yards and a touchdown over four preseason games. The 23-year-old is a good bet for the practice squad if he clears waivers.
