McCain (shoulder) said Thursday that he's "coming along very well" in his recovery from November surgery, Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post reports.
McCain also disclosed that his procedure carries an expected recovery timetable of between five and six months of rehab. Barring any setbacks, that puts him on track for training camp and to kick off the regular season. Though he'll face competition from third-round rookie safety Brandon Jones, McCain is the likely favorite to begin 2020 as a starter opposite Eric Rowe.
