Culliver (knee) will not be activated to the 53-man roster for Sunday's tilt with the Jets, barring a major turnaround, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports. "He's not totally ready to play an NFL game yet," Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said.

Culliver is practicing for the second straight week, leaving him just one more week to be activated to the active roster. Joseph said the safety will be closer to playing in Week 10's tilt with the Chargers, although nothing is for certain at this point. Expect Tony Lippett and Byron Maxwell to continue to start at cornerback this week.
