New Orleans waived Mabin (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
The Saints waived Mabin with an unspecified injury designation Monday, but he reverted to the team's injured reserve list after passing through waivers unclaimed. While it's unknown when the 25-year-old is expected to be healthy once again, he is now free to sign with a new team at any point this preseason.
