Giants' Brandon Williams: Preparing to return from IR

Williams (groin) was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday.

The Giants now have 21 days to evaluate Williams' health before activating him from IR, and he's eligible to play Week 8 against the Buccaneers. Prior to the injury, Williams played exclusively on special teams and didn't make a tackle.
