Jaguars' K.C. McDermott: Officially ruled out

McDermott has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's preseason contest with Atlanta due to an ankle injury, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.

The final ruling on McDermott's status for Thursday's contest gives us some insight to the severity of the injury, although it's hard to speculate exactly how serious it is. The 23-year-old is one of four centers currently on Jacksonville's roster.
