Jaguars' Patrick Murtagh: Gets NFL opportunity

Murtagh signed with the Jaguars on Monday via the NFL's International Player Pathway Program.

Murtagh was a national-level decathlete in high school and played Australian Rules Football before deciding to try and make it in the NFL. He spent part of the 2023 offseason with the Lions but ultimately left the team last May due to an undisclosed medical issue.
