Johnson signed with the Giants' practice squad Wednesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Johnson failed to make the Giants' 53-man roster after signing with the team earlier in August, but New York has decided to bring back the 29-year-old as a practice squad player. The five-year NFL veteran appeared in 13 regular-season games for the Raiders in 2023, recording one reception for 12 yards while also playing 138 special-teams snaps.
