Ja'Markis Weston: Cut loose by Gang Green

The Jets waived Weston on Saturday, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.

The move corresponds with the Jets activating Marcelino McCrary-Ball (hamstring) from injured reserve. Weston served solely on special teams across three regular-season games and posted two tackles over that span. If he clears waivers, Weston could remain with the Jets as a member of the team's practice squad.
