Joe Webb: Visits with Giants

The Giants hosted Webb for a visit Tuesday, Albert Breer of NFL Network reports.

With starting quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) in danger of missing time, the Giants are predictably looking for options to add depth at the position. Colt McCoy will start if Jones indeed misses time, and practice squad member Clayton Thorson could be promoted to serve as McCoy's backup. Webb may start off on the practice squad if he ends up signing in New York.
