Hurst was released from Tampa Bay's practice squad Wednesday.
Hurst and tight end Deon Yelder were both released from the Buccaneers' practice squad Wednesday, which made room for the team to add Breshad Perriman and Darren Fells. The 25-year-old has yet to suit up during the regular season, but he did catch two passes for 20 yards when he was with the Chargers during the 2021 preseason.
