Josh Lambo: Joins Pittsburgh's practice squad

Lambo was signed to the Steelers' practice squad Tuesday.

The Steelers kicker, Chris Boswell, suffered a concussion during a fake field-goal attempt in Week 8, so Lambo will provide kicking insurance in case Boswell is unable to play in Week 9. After a bad start to the season (0-3 on field-goal attempts and 5-for-7 on extra-point tries), Lambo was released by the Jaguars on Oct. 19 in favor of Matthew Wright. The 30-year-old will likely only be used in an emergency.
