Justin Shaffer: Waived by Atlanta

The Falcons waived Shaffer on Tuesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Shaffer was drafted by the Falcons in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, so his release comes as bit of a surprise. The Georgia product started every game for the national champions at left guard in 2021 and earned second-team All-SEC honors.
