Khalid Kareem: Waived by Atlanta

Kareem was waived by the Falcons on Thursday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

Kareem was signed to the active roster in Week 11 and appeared in the overtime loss to the Panthers. The edge rusher's release was not followed by any other personnel moves, so the Falcons still have a 53-man roster spot available. If Kareem clears waivers, there is a good chance he will end up back with Atlanta on the practice squad.
