Le'Veon Bell: Not in MNF mix

Bell wasn't promoted to the Ravens' active roster in advance of Monday night's game against the Raiders, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

The same applies to fellow practice squad member Devonta Freeman, and as a result Ty'Son Williams, Latavius Murray and Trenton Cannon will handle the Ravens' Week 1 running back duties. Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic noted Sunday that Bell still is working his way into game shape, but once the veteran back is up to speed both physically and in terms of Baltimore's playbook, he could enter the the team's backfield mix, though if so he'd likely work in a complementary role, at least initially.
