Marcell Ateman: Back on practice squad

The Raiders signed Ateman to the practice squad Tuesday.

Ateman was cut from the same practice squad last Thursday. He's a candidate to be elevated to the active roster for this Thursday's game against the Chargers because Henry Ruggs is on the reserve/COVID-19 list and won't play. Ateman hasn't played since 2019, when he posted a 5-116-0 line through 11 games with the Raiders.
