Mohamed Sanu: Cut by Niners

The 49ers released Sanu on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

During his three-game run in San Francisco, Sanu logged 40 offensive snaps en route to just one catch (on one target) for nine yards. With the receiving corps getting healthier by the week, the team has opted to move on from the nine-year pro.
