Becker was waived by Carolina on Sunday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Becker had just joined the team Thursday with Ian Thomas (ribs), Colin Thompson (calf) and Josh Babicz (undisclosed) all nursing injuries at tight end. The 26-year-old will now work to earn an opportunity elsewhere.
