Natrez Patrick: Heads to waivers

Detroit waived Patrick without any injury designation Thursday.

Patrick passed his physical prior to the transaction, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports. That means not only that he's healthy, but also that he'll move on to free agency if he's not claimed during the current waiver period.
