Panthers' Cameron Erving: Exits game early

Erving suffered an ankle injury and did not return to Saturday's 27-0 loss to the Jets, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Erving was forced out late in the game and remained sidelined for the remainder. The offensive tackle's status will likely be addressed in the coming days.
