Panthers' Omar Bayless: Will need knee surgery

Bayless (knee) will require surgery, per coach Matt Rhule, Myles Simmons of the Panthers' official site reports.

According to Rhule, the team won't know the severity of the injury until the surgery, so the timetable for Bayless' return could be on the scale of weeks or months. With a deep receiving corps ahead of him, this injury further lowers Bayless' slim chances of making an impact in 2020.
