Raiders' Theo Riddick: Called up to 53-man roster

Riddick was elevated to the Raiders' active roster Saturday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

It's interesting to see the Raiders call up Riddick considering each of their top three backs is healthy, but the desperate need for WRs could have forced the issue. With three members of the receiving corps either out or listed as doubtful for Sunday, it's possible Riddick could even see snaps in five-wide receiver sets, although it's more likely he'll simply act as a do-it-all depth option.
