Ravens' Patrick Ricard: Placed on IR, moved to COVID list

Ricard (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday before being moved to the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The fullback returned to action in Week 17 after missing three straight games with a knee injury, though now it appears he will end the season on IR once he clears league COVID protocols. Ricard will finish the 2021 season having played in 13 games while operating mostly as a run-blocking option for the Ravens. He did record a career-high 63 receiving yards on eight receptions, one of which was for a touchdown.
