Redskins' Alex Carter: Signs with Redskins

Carter signed a contract with Washington on Thursday.

Carter's spot on the 53-man roster comes following the placement of Jordan Reed (foot) on injured reserve. He'll serve a depth role in Washington's secondary during the closing stretch of the season.
