Washington signed Gibson to the practice squad Monday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Gibson wasn't with the team during training camp, and he hasn't played an NFL game since the 2019 season with Philadelphia. Washington is rostering just five receivers to start the season, so Gibson will act as depth in case of injury.
