Godwin was waived by the Jaguars on Monday.
Godwin had signed a contract extension in March, but he ultimately was a casualty of recent signings by Jacksonville. Selected in the seventh-round of the 2019 Draft, Godwin had been a mainstay on the Jaguars' practice squad since then, only appearing in three NFL games, all in 2020.
