Quinn (back) logged a limited practice Wednesday. Quinn picked up the injury during the team's Week 1 contest, but not before he recorded half a sack. Though he remains questionable for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Colts, that Quinn did any work points favorably toward his potential return to the field.
Quinn notched half a sack and a tackle in the Bears' 34-14 loss to the Rams on Sunday. After disappointing in his first year with the Bears in 2020 when he posted just two sacks, the fact he was able to get to the quarterback in Week 1 was encouraging. However, he'll need to show some consistency before being viewed as a reliable IDP option.
Quinn (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Rams. Quinn logged limited practices early in the week before a full one Friday. He's in line to get the start at outside linebacker for the Bears.
Coach Matt Nagy said Monday that Quinn suffered an ankle injury during Saturday's preseason game against the Dolphins, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports. Quinn is not practicing Monday, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports. The veteran linebacker missed time due to a back injury earlier during the offseason, and the Bears will likely take a similarly cautious approach to his ankle injury. As such, Quinn's status for Saturday's exhibition match against the Bills currently looks uncertain.
Quinn (back) took part in Thursday's practice, the Chicago Tribune reports. Quinn missed time during June mandatory minicamp due to a lower-back injury, but it looks like he's since returned to full health. The veteran is looking to bounce back after having been limited to a career-low two sacks in 2020.
