  • Denzel Ward CB | CLE

    Browns' Denzel Ward: Non-participant Wednesday

Ward (calf) won't practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Ward continues to be bothered by the calf injury that forced his departure in the second half of this past Sunday's loss to the Titans. The starting cornerback has two more opportunities to practice before the Browns face the Bears on Sunday.

  • Mason Graham DT | CLE

Browns' Mason Graham: Sidelined by rib injury Wednesday

Graham (rib) won't practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Graham played through this rib injury in the Week 14 loss to Tennessee after being sidelined at Friday's practice, and his 68 percent snap share was right in line with his season average of 71 percent. The starting defensive tackle has two opportunities left to resume practicing before Sunday's game against the Bears.

  • Xavier Gipson WR | PHI

Xavier Gipson: Lands on Jets' practice squad

New York will sign Gipson to the practice squad Wednesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Gipson was cut by Philadelphia on Monday and had previously missed Week 14 due to a shoulder injury. He practiced in full prior to being waived by the Eagles, however, so the return man and depth wideout is healthy as he now reunites with the Jets, where he began the 2025 season before being let go due to a costly Week 1 fumble.

  • Grant Delpit SAF | CLE

Browns' Grant Delpit: Sits out Wednesday due to illness

Delpit (illness) won't practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Delpit still has ample time to recover before Sunday's game against the Bears, but his practice participation will bear monitoring the rest of the week. The starting strong safety has yet to miss a game in the 2025 regular season.

  • Colts' Charvarius Ward: Won't return in regular season

Ward (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

Ward will miss the remainder of the regular season, but he will be eligible to return for the playoffs, should the Colts make it. He would need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion to resume playing at that point. Ward finishes the 2025 regular season with 25 tackles (17 solo) and seven passes defensed in seven appearances.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Not practicing Wednesday

Jackson (undisclosed) isn't practicing Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

As Hensley notes, this marks the fifth straight week that Jackson has missed at least one practice as he manages different injury issues. In the previous four weeks, the QB has gone on to start for the Ravens. The team's upcoming practice report will reveal whether Jackson is listed with an ankle injury, as he was in Week 14.

  • Chase Edmonds RB | WAS

Commanders' Chase Edmonds: Signed from practice squad

The Commanders signed Edmonds from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.

Edmonds will provide depth in a Washington backfield that also includes Chris Rodriguez, Jeremy McNichols and Jacory Croskey-Merritt. He was previously elevated from the practice squad by the Commanders to play Week 11, a game against the Dolphins in which Edmonds did not play on offense but handled seven snaps on special teams.

  • Brady Cook QB | NYJ

Jets' Brady Cook: Gets all first-team reps Wednesday

Cook will get all the first-team reps at Wednesday's practice, while neither Tyrod Taylor (groin) or Justin Fields (knee) will practice in any capacity, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.

Cook is the only healthy quarterback on the roster for the Jets as they begin preparing for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, though New York added Adrian Martinez to the mix Wednesday by signing Martinez to the practice squad. If Taylor and Fields are both unavailable Sunday, Cook would be in line to make his first NFL start. Cook saw his first regular-season NFL action in this past Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins after Taylor exited in the first half. The undrafted rookie out of Missouri completed 14 of 30 passes for 163 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions against Miami.

  • Adrian Martinez: Joins Jets' practice squad

Martinez signed with the Jets' practice squad Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Martinez was cut by the Jets in August after spending the 2024 season on their practice squad. He had been with the 49ers organization for most of the 2025 campaign prior to getting cut from San Francisco's practice squad Tuesday. If neither Tyrod Taylor (groin) nor Justin Fields (knee) gain clearance to play Sunday against the Jaguars, Martinez would likely be elevated to back up undrafted rookie Brady Cook.

  • Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ

Jets' Garrett Wilson: No change to IR status

Wilson (knee) won't have his window to resume practicing opened Wednesday, and head coach Aaron Glenn reiterated that a decision on Wilson's status moving forward will be made by team doctors, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Wilson has been on injured reserve since aggravating a knee injury in Week 10 against the Browns. He is eligible to have his practice window opened at any point moving forward, but it's unclear when or if that will occur. Glenn's answer to the media Wednesday regarding Wilson's status didn't differ from the information Glenn offered Monday. At this point, the Jets are preparing to move forward with John Metchie and Adonai Mitchell as their top two wide receivers for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
