Avalanche's Alex Galchenyuk: Returns to AHL

Galchenyuk was assigned to AHL Colorado on Friday.

Galchenyuk contributed an assist in the Eagles' 3-1 win over San Diego on Saturday. He has notched 16 goals and 42 points in 42 AHL appearances this season. If injuries carry over into the postseason, Galchenyuk could be an option for the Avalanche.
