Avalanche's Darcy Kuemper: Pulled early Saturday

Kuemper surrendered three goals on 15 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Flames.

Kuemper didn't get a decision in this contest, as the Avalanche were able to cover his damage. He played just 21:27 of the contest before head coach Jared Bednar opted to switch to Pavel Francouz in goal. Kuemper's had few bad games this year -- he's at 27-6-2 with a 2.53 GAA and a .918 save percentage in 39 appearances. He'll likely start one game of the Avalanche's upcoming back-to-back, either Monday against the Islanders or Tuesday versus the Devils.
