Avalanche's Devon Toews: Goal and assist in win

Toews scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, went plus-3 and added two hits in Monday's 7-5 win over the Senators.

Toews gave the Avalanche a 3-2 lead in the second period, and he helped out on Nazem Kadri's empty-netter to seal the win late in the third. The 27-year-old Toews has been a steady two-way defenseman since making his season debut Nov. 6. He's picked up three goals, three assists, 12 shots on net and a plus-10 rating in just six appearances.
