Avalanche's Devon Toews: Remains out Saturday

Toews (undisclosed) skated in a red non-contact sweater Saturday morning and will not play that night's game against the Lightning, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports.

Toews has yet to make his season debut, and he'll now need to wait until at least Tuesday against visiting Vegas to play. The 27-year-old is coming off a career year that featured 31 points and a plus-29 rating in 24:46 of average ice time -- all of which were personal bests.
