Avalanche's Jacob MacDonald: Sent back down

MacDonald was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Tuesday.

MacDonald was called up earlier in the day, but he was not needed to step into the lineup against the Red Wings. The 32-year-old defenseman could be called up again if Erik Johnson (lower body) remains sidelined for Thursday's game versus the Kings.
