Avalanche's Nikita Zadorov: Reassigned to AHL San Antonio on Saturday

Zadorov was reassigned to AHL San Antonio on Saturday.

With seven other healthy blueliners on their 23-man roster, the Avalanche is no longer in need of Zadorov's services as a depth defender. He was a healthy scratch for three of Colorado's last four games, indicating the team feels as though they currently have better options at Zadorov's position. The 20-year-old defender has tallied two assists and seven shots on goal in 11 games with the Avalanche this season.
