Avalanche's Taylor Makar: Up from minors

Makar was called up by the Avalanche on Friday, per Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now.

Makar has six goals, 10 points and 26 PIM in 26 appearances with AHL Colorado this season. He's also recorded no points, three shots and six hits in three appearances with the Avalanche in 2025-26. Makar might draw into the lineup Saturday versus Carolina if Gavin Brindley (lower body) and Joel Kiviranta (lower body) aren't available.
