Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Reaches double digits in goals

Nichushkin scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Predators.

Nichushkin got the Avalanche within a goal in the third period. The Russian winger has 10 tallies, six assists and 47 shots on net in 18 contests this season. He's often played in a middle-six role, but with the Avalanche's roster depleted by COVID-19 protocols and injuries, Nichushkin played alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen on the top line Thursday.
