Blackhawks' Andrew Shaw: Hanging up his skates

Shaw (concussion) is retiring from the NHL.

Concussions have forced the 29-year-old winger into an early retirement, but Shaw enjoyed a fruitful career before the unfortunate run-in with injuries. He captured a pair of Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks and finishes his career with 116 goals and 247 points in 544 games spread over 10 seasons; seven with Chicago and three with Montreal.
