Blue Jackets' Danton Heinen: Involved in trade

Columbus acquired Heinen, a 2026 second-round pick (St. Louis) and a 2027 third-round draft pick (Washington) from Pittsburgh on Monday in exchange for Yegor Chinakhov.

Heinen will report to AHL Cleveland after passing through waivers Monday. He has contributed one goal, two points, 14 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and 16 hits across 13 NHL appearances this season.
