Blues' Pavel Buchnevich: Signs four-year contract

Buchnevich signed a four-year, $23.2 million contract with the Blues on Tuesday.

Buchnevich, who was recently acquired by St. Louis via a trade, drew into 54 games with the Rangers last season, racking up 20 goals, 28 helpers and 120 shots while averaging 18:44 of ice time per contest. The 26-year-old Russian should see top-six minutes while being deployed on one of the Blues' power-play units in 2021-22, so he could once again approach the point-per-game threshold.
