Thomas scored his eighth goal of the season in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Islanders.
He ruined Ilya Sorokin's shutout bid with less than three minutes remaining in the third period, but it was all the offense the Blues could muster on the afternoon. Thomas has been having a little puck luck lately, scoring three goals among his 10 points over the last nine games despite taking only 18 total shots, but his breakout season has mainly been fueled by his distribution skills.
