Perunovich (upper body) was placed on injured reserve, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports Tuesday.

Perunovich has been absent from the last six games while dealing with an upper-body injury. The 23-year-old has averaged 12:26 of ice time -- 1:14 during the power play -- and recorded one assist over his last five appearances.
