Perunovich (shoulder) has been cleared for light contact, Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Perunovich will probably still miss the entirety of the regular season, but it's nonetheless encouraging to see him ramping up his participation in practice after undergoing shoulder surgery in early October. The oft-injured blueliner picked up six helpers through 19 top-level appearances last season.
