Montembault made 26 saves in a 3-2 overtime win over St. Louis on Thursday.
Robert Thomas beat him shorthanded and Pavel Buchnevich scored on a one-timer at the 18:41 mark of the third to move the Blues into a 2-1 lead. Montembault's mates scored with 10 seconds remaining then earned the win in OT. It was his first win since Jan. 18 and the Habs' first since Marty St. Louis became the coach.
