Canes' Gerbe Has Cyst Removed From Wrist

Gerbe underwent a recent surgery to remove a cyst from his wrist, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.It doesn't sound like Gerbe required any sort of reconstructive wrist procedure, so he should be back to 100 percent within the next few weeks. The winger skated in 78 games for the Hurricanes in 2014-15, producing 10 goals, 18 assists, and a minus-14 rating.
