Capitals' Alex Ovechkin: Two-point effort Friday

Ovechkin scored an empty-net goal at even strength and picked up a power-play assist in Friday's 2-0 win over the Coyotes.

Both Caps goals came in the third period, as Ovechkin helped set up John Carlson for the eventual game-winner midway through the frame. Ovie has an eight-game point streak to begin the season, amassing a massive nine goals and 15 points over that stretch.
