The Capitals recalled Leason from the taxi squad Wednesday.
The winger gets an NHL call-up two days after joining the taxi squad. Leason has played 22 games for Washington this season and has tallied six points while averaging 8:50 of ice time. It's unclear whether he'll find his way into the lineup in the near future.
